The Milton Menace fell apart on Friday night.

On April 25th, the Menace hosted the Trenton Golden Hawks for game four of the OJHL Finals. Coming into this game, the Menace found themselves down 2-0 before winning game three with a 4-0 shutout. They were looking to tie the series up.

Trenton got on the board first, with the Golden Hawks outshooting the Menace 15-11 in the first period. It was 1-0 Trenton going into the first intermission.

In the second period, Ryder Cali scored just over a minute into the frame. His 5th of the postseason was assisted by Justin Dezoete and Nathan Catalano. Trenton would follow that up with two goals of their own to make it 3-1 after 40 minutes of action.

The final period would see the game get away from the Menace, as Trenton would score four more goals. Milton would get one inconsequential goal late in the game, with Cali netting his second of the game, assisted by Catalano and Markus Hicks. Trenton beat Milton 7-2.

Carter Bickle was the netminder for the Menace. He stopped 35 of 41 shots (one of the Golden Hawks’ goals was an empty netter) as he finished with an .853% save percentage.

It now comes down to Monday, April 28th, with game five taking place at Duncan Memorial Gardens in Trenton. Game time is listed for 7:00 p.m.

If the Menace win tonight, they will return to the Milton Memorial Arena for game six, with puck drop set for just after 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
