The Menace’s undefeated season continued at Memorial Arena Sunday evening – with a little suspense thrown into the mix.

Owen King’s second goal of the season with 1:11 remaining in regulation and Carter Froggett’s four overtime saves staved off their team’s closest brush with defeat – as Milton and Markham battled to a 2-2 tie.

The point kept the Menace atop the OJHL West Conference, a lead they now share with the Toronto Patriots, with whom they have two games in hand.

Josh Currie helped set up the late equalizer and cut Markham’s 2-0 lead early in the third for his third multi-point performance in his last four games.

Now 8-0-2, Milton has kept its opposition to two goals or less in all but two games thus far – sitting with a league-best 1.7 goals-against average.

They look ahead to a tough Thanksgiving weekend stretch, beginning this Friday in Trenton against the East Conference-leading Golden Knights.

Sunday, they host Collingwood at Memorial Arena. Game time is 6 p.m.
