Three Ontario Junior Hockey League players made the grade as the NHL Central Scouting Bureau today released its final rankings for the 2022 Upper Deck NHL Draft.
OJHL Top Prospect and Rookie of the Year George Fegaras of the North York Rangers leads the way for the OJHL on the list of North American skaters, at 82nd.
Another OJHL defenceman, Jack Sparkes of the St. Michael’s Buzzers, is at 127.
Centre Lucas Buzziol of the Milton Menace is ranked 166th.
The OJHL and the Alberta Junior Hockey League led the Canadian Junior Hockey League with three ranked players each. There are 11 CJHL players on the list.
The final rankings feature the top 224 skaters and 32 goaltenders in North America as well as the top 140 skaters and 10 goaltenders internationally.
In its 47th year of operation, NHL Central Scouting provides evaluation and scouting of draft-eligible players to NHL member clubs. Headed by Director of Central Scouting Dan Marr, NHL Central Scouting employs eight full-time scouts throughout North America.
