Milton, Ontario, Canada / FM101 Milton Now

The Milton Menace will cross the border on Wednesday, November 8th to take on the Buffalo Jr. Sabres.

This will be the second meeting between the two teams, with the Menace beating the Sabres 4-2 at the Milton Memorial Arena on Friday, October 6th. Despite just the one match-up, this won’t be Milton’s first game in the Sabres barn, as Buffalo were the hosts for the OJHL Governors Showcase in September.

Heading into Wednesday’s game, the Menace are 14-4-2-0 through 20 games this season. They’re second in the West Conference with 30 points, six behind the league leading Collingwood Blues. Leading the way for Milton is their captain, Connor Driscoll. He has ten goals and 17 assists this season.

As for the Jr. Sabres, they’re 13-7-0-1 through 21 games this season, and sit three points behind the Menace for third in the West Conference. Cameron Doran is tied for their leading scorer with eight goals and 14 assists, while Patrick Cole has 15 goals and seven assists.

Unless stated otherwise, expect Glen Crandall in net for Milton. He’s sporting a 10-4-0-1 through 15 games and a .913% save percentage on the season.
