It’s a quick turn-around for the Milton Menace as they get set for the Georgetown Raiders.
Coming off the back of a 7-3 win over the St. Michaels Buzzers on Wednesday, November 23rd, the Menace will stay at home to welcome in their cross-region divisional rivals.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams. Milton was able to shut out Georgetown 3-0 back in October.
The Menace have an 18-4-2-0 record through 24 games this season, giving them 38 points and putting them in second place in the OJHL West Conference behind the league leading Collingwood Blues. Leading the Menace this year is their captain, Connor Driscoll. Through just 20 games, he’s scored 11 goal and added 20 assists.
As for the Raiders, they’re 15-7-0-3 through 25 games this season. Their 33 points this season puts them in a tie with Leamington for third in the West Conference, and five points behind the Menace. Their top scorer this year is Quinn Tavares, the younger cousin of Toronto Maple Leafs Captain John Tavares (according to EliteProspects). Tavares has scored 11 goals and 21 assists over 25 games.
