The Milton Menace have quite the test this weekend.

Coming up on Friday, October 10th, the Menace will head to Trenton for a rematch of the OJHL Finals against the Golden Hawks. The last time these two teams played, the Menace blew a two-goal lead late in game six of the Finals to lose the series.

Things haven’t really changed so far this season as both teams sit at the top of their respective divisions. The Menace boast an unbeaten record of 8-0-2-0 over 10 games this season. That puts them in a tie for 1st place in the OJHL West Division, with two games on hand of the Toronto Patriots. Their leading scorer continues to be forward Ivan Fabjan, who has scored five goals and seven assists over all 10 games played. Player stats are available here.

As for the Golden Hawks, they sit alone at the top of the OJHL East Conference with their 9-2-0-0 record over 11 games played. Their offence has seen a bit more firepower this year, as Taeo Artichuk and Jack Ziliotto lead the team with 22 points each. Check out the player stats here.

Puck drop at the Duncan Memorial Gardens is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10th.

The Menace return home on Sunday, October 12th for a Thanksgiving game against the Collingwood Blues. Game time at the Milton Memorial Arena is set for 6:00 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
