The Milton Menace will look to get back on the ice on Thursday night!

Last weekend, the Menace experienced back-to-back postponements due to a strike. According to a post by the Oakville Blades, a tentative deal has been reached and future games shouldn’t be impacted.

It’ll be a road game for Milton as they take on the Leamington Flyers at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre on Thursday, November 16th. This will be the third match-up this season between the two teams, with the first being a 4-4 tie, and the second being a 5-4 win for the Flyers. Both games were in September.

Through 21 games this season, the Menace are 15-4-0-2 with 32 points. They are 2nd in the OJHL West Conference, nine points back of the Collingwood Blues. Leading Milton is their captain, Connor Driscoll, with 11 goals and 18 assists.

As for the Flyers, they boast a 13-6-3-0 record over 22 games. They have 29 points this season, which puts them in 4th in the West Conference. Their leading scorer is Cayden Faust, with eight goals and 17 assists this season.

Expect Milton to start Glen Crandall on Thursday night. He’s had a strong start to the campaign, sporting a 11-4-1 record through 16 starts, with a .906% save percentage. He’ll want to be on his A-game as he’s allowed 15 goals over his last three games, which is noteworthy as one of those three games was actually a shut-out.

Game-time for the Menace vs Flyers game is set for 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, November 16th at the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre in Leamington.

The Menace will return home on Sunday, November 19th for a make-up game against the Aurora Tigers. Puck-drop is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Milton Memorial Arena. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here.
