Tonight’s season opener marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Menace team as they look to build on the momentum of last year’s record-breaking campaign coming off a franchise-best season in terms of Season Wins, Win percentage and Season Points, the team is stronger than ever and eager to push further this year.
Returning to the Menace and new at at the helm is newly minted Captain, Graeme MacAuley. A Milton native, MacAuley is the cornerstone of our defense, whose leadership both on and off the ice will be critical this season.
Alongside him, are new Alternate captains, Tristan Tremble and Madden MacDougall who both bring invaluable experience and grit to the team. These leaders will guide a squad that has been fortified through key offseason additions, enhancing both our depth and skill across the board.
The Caledon Admirals, enter the MaDhOuSe tonight coming off of a 2023-24 season, where they finished with a 10-40-1-5 record.
Despite their struggles last season, they have made changes in the offseason and will certainly be looking to start fresh with a strong performance in this season opener.
Although losing their home opener last night 8-2, they have a key advantage coming in tonight: they’ve been able to shake off some off-season rust already while your Menace are taking to the ice tonight for the first time this season.
The goal for the Menace this season is simple: build upon last year’s success and make an even deeper run.
The journey starts tonight, and the team is ready to set the tone from game one.
