Milton Menace Preview: Menace vs. Niagara Falls Canucks – September 10, 2023
The Milton Menace are gearing up for their second game of the season against the Niagara Falls Canucks. The newest members of the OJHL will head to Milton on Sunday night to play the Menace at Milton Memorial Arena.
The Menace dropped their home opener and the first game of the regular season 4-2 to the Brantford 99ers. The Menace had 40 shots on the 99ers but could not regain the lead after losing it in the third period. James Jagodic and Aidan Puley picked up their first goals of the season, and Glen Crandall stopped 24 of 27 shots. Crandall spent last season with the Aurora Tigers.
Ahead of Friday’s game, Puley and Justin O’Donnell were named part of the Menace leadership team as alternate captains alongside previously announced captain Connor Driscoll. This is both Puley and O’Donnell’s second season in Milton.
Niagara Falls comes into the game after a 3-0 loss to Georgetown on Friday night in their first OJHL home opener after moving from the GOJHL. The Menace and Canucks met early in the exhibition season, with Milton winning 5-2 in Niagara Falls.
The Menace will look to pick up their first win of the regular season in front of a home crowd. The puck drops at 6:30 p.m., so grab your tickets and join the Menace at Milton Memorial Arena. The game will also be available to watch on FloHockey.
