MILTON’S FROGGETT SNARES GOALTENDER OF MONTH HONOURS

December 5, 2025, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Carter Froggett (Photo by Gordon Kim / OJHL Images) of the Milton Menace has been named its Goaltender of the Month for November.

The native of Thorndale, near London, was 5-0-0-0 during November, posting a 1.60 goals-against average with a 0.947 save percentage. Froggett, 19, signed in Milton on Sept. 26 from the Windsor Spitfires. He played 23 games with the Ontario Hockey League team during the last two seasons.

On the season, Froggett has gone 8-2-1-1 in Milton with a 2.05 goals-against, a shutout – 9-0 over Mississauga on Nov. 28 – and a 0.931 save percentage.

Gannon Hunter of the Leamington Flyers was runner-up to Froggett as the Goaltender of the Month. The native of Kingsville, near Windsor, went 4-0-0-0 during November, posting a 1.00 GAA and a 0.958 save percentage. A Jr. B goalie with Chatham of the GOHL last season, Hunter played in the preseason with the Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League is the largest Junior ‘A’ league operating under the auspices of the Canadian Junior Hockey League with 24 member clubs.
