The Milton Menace can certainly put the puck on net when needed.
On Thursday, October 23rd, the Menace went into Caledon to take on the Admirals at the Mayfield Recreation Complex.
Tristan Tremble opened the scoring in the first period on the powerplay, getting his 3rd of the year, assisted by Easton Lynds and Ivan Fabjan. It was 1-0 Milton after 20 minutes of action.
In the second period, the Admirals would tie it up. That tie didn’t last for long as the Menace would rally off four goals in a row. Tremble would score his second of the game; Ashtyn Pacheco would net his 6th of the season; Gabriel Ciarallo added his own 6th of the year; and then Josh Currie would bury his 7th. It was 5-1 Menace heading into the second intermission.
The final period would be mostly uneventful for the scoresheet as the Menace beat Caledon 5-1.
Milton dominated the possession statistics, outshooting the Admirals 51-34 over the span of the game.
In net for the Menace was Austin McKillop. The all-star netminder stopped 33 of the 34 shots that came his way. That gave him an impressive .970% save percentage on the night.
They now return home on Friday, October 24th to host the Oakville Blades at the Milton Memorial Arena. It’s their annual Hockey Fights Cancer game. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
Before the end of the weekend, the Menace will travel to Leamington to play the Flyers. That is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, October 26th.
