The Menace scored twice before the game was two minutes old en route to downing the Niagara Falls 7-4 Friday at Memorial Arena.
Team points leader Tristan Tremble led with a goal and three assists and recently-acquired goalie Hayden Duncan stopped 25 shots in the victory – the fourth in a row for Milton after a 9-2 dismantling of Mississauga two days earlier.
Niagara Falls made things a little more respectable with two goals in the last four minutes of play.
Ashtyn Pacheco also stood out with two goals and an assist, with Dean Deligeorgis and Wolf Giles recording a goal and an assist each.
Rounding out the scoring were Dante D’Andrea and Andrew Giljanovic.
Now 30-8-2-1, the Menace sit just a point back of Collingwood – with a game in hand – for second in the OJHL’s West Conference.
Tremble, Easton Lynds and captain Graeme MacAuley will represent the local juniors when they host the league all-star game this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial.
The Menace continue a three-game home stand Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. against Mississauga.
