The Milton Menace had a back-to-back this past weekend, and they broke even across the two games.

On Friday, October 17th, the Menace travelled to the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena to take on the Collingwood Blues.

They couldn’t quite get their offence in sync for this game, managing just 23 shots on goal and failing to find the back of the net. That led to a 3-0 shutout win for Collingwood.

In net for the Menace was Austin McKillop. He stopped 29 of 32 shots for the .906% and the team’s first regulation loss on the season.

The Menace stayed on the road for Saturday, October 18th, as they took on the Toronto Patriots.

It took almost the entire first period, but Davis Anello buried his 1st of the season, assisted by Ivan Fabjan, to give the Menace the 1-0 lead after 20 minutes of action.

In the second period, Toronto would tie things up. Just before the end of the frame, Ashtyn Pacheco scored his 5th of the year, assisted by Fabjan and Tristan Tremble. It was 2-1 Milton heading into the second intermission.

It’d be another first that helped pad the lead for the Menace, as Dante D’Andrea netted his 1st of the season in the third period, assisted by Nathan Catalano. The Menace would get additional insurance near the end of the game, as Easton Lynds potted his 6th of the year, assisted by Tremble, on an empty net. Milton won 4-1 over Toronto.

Carter Froggett was in net for the Menace. He had a great night, stopping 30 of 31 shots for the .967% save percentage and win.

The Menace will stay on the road for one more game, taking on the Caledon Admirals on Thursday, October 23rd.

They return home on Friday, October 24th to host the Oakville Blades at the Milton Memorial Arena. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
