The Menace pulled off a rare feat in hostile territory last night (Mar. 21).
In front of nearly 1,000 fans in Collingwood, Milton handed the defending OJHL champion Blues their first shutout loss in a whopping 119 league games – blanking them 2-0.
Ivan Fabjan’s sixth goal of the playoffs midway through the first period stood up as the winner, with Carter Bickle turning back 29 shots for the victory.
The flawless night lifted his save percentage to 95.6.
The Menace took just one penalty in the round two opener and got a late insurance tally – his second of the post season – from Justin Dezoete.
Ashtyn Pacheco, Spencer Vanderburg, Madden MacDougall and Luke Johnston drew the assists.
Milton will look to tighten their hold on the series at Memorial Arena Sunday night. Game time is 6 p.m.
