Milton will look to even first-round series tomorrow night in Burlington

The Menace have breathed new life into their first-round series.

Shaking off a dismal game-two showing – one of their worst efforts in recent memory – Milton rediscovered their scoring and discipline en route to toppling the Cougars 4-1 Wednesday night at Memorial Arena.

They’ll look to even the best-of-seven series tomorrow night in Burlington, with game five set for Sunday at 6 p.m. at Memorial.

Ashtyn Pacheco tallied twice in the first period last night, while Ivan Fabjan assisted on the first three goals and Nathan Catalano potted a last-second empty netter.

Also finding the back of the net was Dante D’Andrea, while captain Graeme MacAuley and Dean Deligeorgis each had a pair of assists.

Austin McKillop made 28 saves for the win.

His team allowed the Cougars just five powerplay opportunities, compared to 17 in last Sunday’s 7-0 humbling.
